Technology Futures and the Internet

Bill Chriss

Technology has played a major role in the growth of the Internet. This presentation describes the changes brought on by the Internet, the technological and socialogical drivers that are driving that change, the technology trends that are shaping the future, and AT&T's role in the Internet space.

Bill Chriss is a Principal Technical Staff Member and a Marketing Manager in the AT&T WorldNet Service organization. He was formerly a member of the architecture area of AT&T Bell Labs, where he investigated new technology and business opportunities for next generation networks. Bill has a BSEE from Villanova and and MSEE from Columbia.
